The City of Diamond Bar is located in eastern Los Angeles County. It is home to approximately 60,000 residents. Diamond Bar is located along the portion of freeway where CA-60 and CA-57 merge for a short time. It is bordered by the neighboring communities of Pomona, Chino Hills, Rowland Heights and Walnut.

The Walnut Valley Unified School District serves Diamond Bar with the following schools: Castle Rock Elementary, Evergreen Elementary, Maple Hill Elementary, Quail Summit Elementary, Walnut Elementary, Chaparral Middle, South Pointe Middle and the renowned Diamond Bar High School. The Pomona Unified School District serves Diamond Bar with the following schools: Armstrong Elementary, Diamond Point Elementary, Golden Springs Elementary, Pantera Elementary, Lorbeer Middle and Diamond Ranch High School.

Diamond Bar Transportation

Diamond Bar is easy to reach by car due to its location right along a major freeway. The city lies almost entirely to the south of the freeway section where California Route 60 (The Pomona Freeway) and California Route 57 (The Orange Freeway) are merged for approximately 2 miles. It is located just south of Interstate 10 (The San Bernardino Freeway) and California Route 71 (The Chino Valley Freeway).
Air travel in and out of Diamond Bar is probably most easily via the LA/Ontario International Airport just 18 miles to the north east, but Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is only approximately 40 miles to the west.
